Unlike the past Small Business Deals posts, this month’s Small Business Deals: December 2025 Edition will be a little different from usual.
With the holiday season around the corner, I figure, why not make this month’s post all about the gift guide instead?
Not only will it give you ideas on what you can get for the important people in your life.
But you can find something as a gift for yourself, too.
After all, you also deserve a gift just as much as the important people in your life.
As much as I’d like to make a general gift guide, I’m sure you won’t have a hard time finding the right gift for them, especially when you know them inside out.
But it’s a little tricky when it comes to gifts for the author and entrepreneur people in your life.
If you need ideas on what gifts you should get for them, then you may want to have a look at this month’s Small Business Deals: December 2025 Edition post.
Who knows what you see in this post may have been the solution they’ve been looking for all this time.
As always, I will still let you know if there are other deals that you don’t want to miss.
The post’s fundamentals don’t change even during the holiday season, I guess.
Books you can give to your author and entrepreneur people in your life
You’re an author. So, of course, your gifts will always be books, right?
If you write nonfiction, then it’s a no-brainer to give your books as a gift, especially when you think they can benefit a lot from your book.
But what if you write fiction?
Should you give your books as a gift?
Well, you can do that if you’d like.
But it’s better to give them if they read in your genre.
There’s no point in giving your sci-fi novel when the person you want to give your book to enjoys historical fiction.
Just because you are friends, it doesn’t mean your friend will be more than happy to receive your book as a gift, even if it’s not the kind of book they usually read.
And it’s even worse if your friend doesn’t read at all.
While giving your own book may sound like a good idea, it’s even better when you give it with other books.
Consider adding any of these books to the list if you’re thinking about giving books as a gift.
Your Best Year Ever by Michael Hyatt

Let’s be honest here, we all want to achieve our goals so badly.
But any goals, big or small, can feel out of reach to many of us if we don’t have the system in place to achieve them.
If you or anyone in your life is dead set on wanting to make the goals happen for real this time, then this book may have been what you need.
What I love about this book is that it not only does it provides you with a system that makes achieving your biggest goal possible.
But it also emphasizes setting goals in other parts of your life, not just in your professional life.
If anything, your personal life matters just as much as your professional one.
But what if you want to build positive habits that last?
This book provides a framework for that as well.
Think this is the sort of book you need now that we’re getting close to wrapping 2025 up for good?

The Alone Advantage by Terri Savelle Foy

Ever wonder what the habits of successful people are?
In this book, Terri Savelle Foy outlines what successful people do behind closed doors.
Pair this book with Your Best Year Ever, and you will certainly develop the same habits as the successful people in the long run.
If you’re not sure what successful habits you need to develop, then this book is for you.

The Bullet Journal Method by Ryder Carroll

If you’re reading Your Best Year Ever, you probably think you will also need to get the Full Focus Planner to apply what you’ve just read.
But if you’re like me, who finds a planner of any kind a constraint, there’s a big chance you may not use the planner just as much as you thought.
After all, there’s no point in getting a planner that doesn’t align with your life.
So, what to do when the typical planner feels like a constraint?
This is what makes bullet journaling so magical, at least for me.
But what makes bullet journaling amazing is that you can customize your journal however you like.
Rather than having multiple planners, you have everything in one journal.
Of course, bullet journaling can be confusing if you’re new to the concept.
It’s for this reason that you need to get the book since Ryder Carroll is the one who brought the bullet journal method to the world.
While you can get the book as an ebook, I highly recommend that you get this book in print instead for an easier reference.
